Project Blue was founded to increase support for seniors in assisted living, retirement homes, hospice, and nursing homes, as well as seniors living in the general community
Project Blue utilizes the values of education, interaction, and collaboration to achieve its goal
Through these values, we hope to decrease senior isolation and stigmas surrounding senior care facilities as well as advocate for senior citizens as essential members of our community
Project Blue was created in honor of Amal Bhattacharjee, who suffered a stroke in July of 2023
Following the stroke, Amal stayed in multiple senior care facilities, inspiring the creation of Project Blue
Project Blue was named after his bright blue car, which was passed down to Renuka (co-founder+president), his granddaughter, after his passing
Project Blue remembers and honors his memory by striving to help people like him everyday
